Meta raises service message pricing: How to protect your WhatsApp API ROI
Starting 1 Oct 2026, Meta will charge WhatsApp API usage per message sent, including service messages (non-template messages you send in response to a customer-initiated inquiry). Meta has also introduced new per-token pricing for Meta Business Agent.
